Rev. Dr. Carolyn T. Brown, 75, of Chester, departed this life on Thursday, August 16, 2012.
Rev. Brown was born in Norfolk, VA in July of 1937 to the late Mr. Milton Fitzgerald and the late Mrs. Charlotte White.
Later in life, Rev. Brown and family moved to New York where she met and married the late Mr. Eric Trimblett.
Out of that union two sons were born, Mr. Milton Lloyd Trimblett and Mr. Lawrence Eric Trimblett, along with one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ann Trimblett-Eley whom by all she is still survived.
Rev. Brown later met and married the late Mr. Jesse Brown, then moved back home to Virginia.
Along with her children, she is survived by: her sister, Ms. Ann Hunter; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of many relatives and friends.
A Going Home service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Second Baptist Church, 5100 W. Hundred Road, Chester, with the pastor, Rev. Johnnie Fleming, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Sinai Community Cemetery, Prince George.
